The Columbus Cougars has a tradition of not only winning on the Football field, but changing kids lives. It all starts with the "babies". Kids start as young as five, and we never turn anyone away. If a kid wants to play, we will teach them. Whether a kid has played for 10 years, or never played before, if they have the heart not to quit, and are willing to listen, and show respect to their coaches, we can make a football player out of them. We teach the fundamentals of football, and prepare them for high school, college, and for a determined few....the pro's.
When coaches in Columbus High Schools hear that a kid came from the Columbus Cougars, they know right away, this kid knows how to play football.
